With the launch of the dual SIM phones last year, the Indian handset industry witnessed the arrival of a new technology all together. Dual SIM phones are meant to support two active connections in one phone. This saves the effort and money invested in keeping two handsets for two separate connections. This trend was started by Spice, who launched two dual SIM phones It gained popularity and apart from Spice many companies such as Samsung, Fly and Bleu introduced a number of dual SIM devices. Today, markets are also flooded with unbranded phones offering dual functionality. But the question that crops up with so many launches is that the right dual sim phone.
Connectivity Support
Before buying a dual sim device consumer should consider their con-; nectivity needs. In simple terms the first thing a users needs to identify is whether they will be using two GSM connections or one GSM and one CDMA. A lot of these phones are avail¬able in various combinations. Some support two GSM connections whereas some support one GSM and one CDMA connection. For instance, Spice offers two dual SIM phones. The Spice D88 supports one GSM and one CDMA connection whereas the D80 supports; two GSM connections. Same is the case with the phones launched by Fly and Samsung.
But if your requirement is of just two CDMA connections in one phone, then you need to wait for the time when companies will launch whether these phones will be able to perform and much up to your needs as well as expectation?Well, the answer is yes but only if you go in for a sensible buy considering a few things while buying one.

Many more Indian companies are entering the mobile handset busi- ness. What does this mean for consumers? Sonia Sharma finds out .Around 9 million handsets are consumed every month in India. That pretty much makes us one of the largest mobile phone markets in the world. Also these days, people are getting increasingly conscious about the kind of mobile phones they carry. Everyone wants a good looking phone and possessing one is no longer just the privilege of the upper class. Another noticeable change is that phones are becoming entertainment devices with better music quality along with multimedia features like cameras and GPRS receivers. All this has been achieved without compromising on the phone’s looks.
Ironically, the Indian handset market is marked by the presence of five major and many smaller global handset compa-nies.However, till date only two Indian companies have made it big in this segment. But today, the scenario is changing and many more Indian companies are venturing into this sector to dig into the mobile boom pie. The best part is that these companies are not some obscure newcomers in the Indian market. Some of them are big shots in the consumer electronic segment.
Kunal Ahooja, CEO, Spice Mobiles Ltd, an Indian mobile handset company, says, “The Indian market is the fastest growing in the world. There is a huge demand at the entry level and mid tier segments. This is where we being an Indian company have an edge over the MNCs because we understand the Indian psyche better and build customised handsets for our consumers. On the other hand, global brands that are present here build brands at the global level and then bring them to India - a move which cannot cater to the needs of all segments of mobile users.”
Currently mobile penetration in India is around 25 per cent. It is expected to grow to 40-50 per cent in the next four years. On the other hand, the replacement market is also growing rapidly, making it a very lucrative proposition for these companies.
According to our sources, Onida, a leading brand in consumer electronics like TVs and washing machines, has already launched a handset called V110, which has a standby time of 28 days. This is an important aspect as battery has always been the most important criteria especially in the hinterlands where there is a perennial shortage of electricity. But Onida is not limiting itself to the entry-level and mid-level phones. It will soon come out with a smart phone as well.

High performance pcs generally need a lot of active cooling and high speed hard drives however also add to ruckus your pc might makes especially noticeable at night. Over time the hunning turn into droning and son . your can’t take it any more . this happened to a lot of us here at digit where even a graphics card fan picking up speed can be hard in our otherwise silent environment.
All we needed in our quest to silence the pcs ws a screw drier set. some tape rubber grommets washers and a used toothbrush. All very easily available and dost nothing or nest to nothing . after shutting down the pc opening the cabinet and tuning it on again . we looked for the noisiest component.
CASE FAN
We found that the case fans were the worst culprits . a lot of the cheap quality fan were the nosiest and since they are not really expensive we just replaced them . for those of you who don’t want to buy an new fan cleaning is the only alternative . whenever we found find a fan spinning at lower rpm we would know it was due for replacement.
THE CPU FAN
The very careful when removing the cpu fan to clean it because one wrong jerk means you could dislodge the fan to the wrong angle and damage your cpu or motherboard. When remover the cpu fans cleaned them applied artic silver thermal paste on to the cpu and fixed the fan back making sure it vas seated firmly.

This one illustrates the idea of ‘internet phenomenon.”having read this bit of news this writer fondly remembers mahr cagri internet phenomenon par excellecnce in 1999. there is a org devoted to preserving the original mahir homepage were pages then not while updating it with photographs of mahir’s new successes with the public at large.
The page to keep a long story short was the trukish mahir’s attempt at reaching out to people by telling them about him self. The English was atrocious and that made for about half the people of the padge and of mahir. essentially people loved mahir because of his seeming innocence. Generosity and child like frankness. Some of the gems on the page included “l like music I have many music enstrumans my home . I can play and l like to be friendship from different country. Well that’s quite enough of the nostalgia fast forward to 2007. and we have casey seren 24 a woud bereal state agent form California who bought eight houses in eight months in four states with no money as won payment. He managed that through credit he was hoping to sell the properties for a huge profit. As it came to pass he lost everything and ended up owing about $170000 to his creditors.

The problem with the software world today is that they are platform dependant. Not all of them but the majority. Application are being made as windows only or mac only. Linux being open source has a sot of application built for it with source code available. Thus open source application generally are available as source linux binaries and windows binaries . in a sense open source is more cross platform than closed source application a generalisation but the numbers support it.
It’s problem that doesn’t seen to be solvable microsoft will release application programming interfaces to developers but they are obviously not going to release source code. Cross platform applications need to run on a different layer from the os something that is installable on any os something like’s sun’s java. Which runs anywhere and allows . java based applications to be run on any operating system . java has invaded the mobile phone markets as well and anything from games to software applications are now installable on your phone.

Every family has its black sheep every armour a chink batteries and hard drives have come to be the bane of technology’s existence hard drives are bottlenecks and batteries just don’t last as long as they should especially now that they are gaining in importance with everything shifting towards mobile computing and sadly they have been found wanting desperately.
Enter the sugar battery .it’s still a fuel cell but in this case the fuel is anything that contains sugar even soft drindks. It this catches on you will be sharing your coke with your phone and laptop. Not only do these batteries last up to four dimes longer than lithium based batteries they are easy to recharge ar e bio degradable an d run on sugar . so you keep wondering when someone will yell april fool ! such innovations are desperately required in the battery segment. The cange this promised is radical because we might soon se ourselves refilling our own batteries and never running out of charge. The developers of this technology are based at sain louis university missouri. Usa
